Sandeno, Peirsol to Appear on FOX Television This Weekend

LOS ANGELES, August 31. TWO of the biggest names in the sport will appear on Saturday on “Hope Rocks,” a television show on the FOX network. Kaitlin Sandeno and Aaron Peirsol will be seen at the music benefit, which will be held at the City of Hope Cancer Center in Los Angeles. The two-hour program will air at 10 a.m. (EDT) and is slated for 11 a.m. (PDT).

Sandeno and Peirsol have established themselves as two of the world’s premier swimmers. A triple-Olympic medalist last summer in Athens, Sandeno won silver in the 400 individual medley during last month’s World Championships in Montreal. As for Peirsol, he reaffirmed his status as the finest backstroker in history when he won three gold medals in Montreal, in the 100 and 200 dorsal distances and in the 400 medley relay.
