MILAN, Italy – After denying for weeks he made any mistakes, IOC president Juan Antonio Samaranch now says he should have acted earlier to curb corruption in Olympic bidding. In an interview in Gazzetta dello Sport, Samaranch repeats his view that the Salt Lake City bribery scandal has been overblown by the media and the IOC is only partly to blame.
