Samantha Tucker’s Brother Wins Starting Job on Baltimore Ravens

BALTIMORE, Maryland, August 26. THE Tucker family had a banner day today as Samantha Tucker's older brother Justin earned a starting spot with the Baltimore Ravens, beating out Pro Bowl kicker Billy Cundiff in the process with Cundiff being cut today.

Samantha, a junior at the University of Texas, was definitely excited as she announced the good news for her family on Facebook today.

“He did it!!!” Samantha wrote. “Justin Tucker is officially the starting kicker for the Baltimore Ravens! VERY happy for my brother!”

No news on whether Ravens' super fan Michael Phelps approves of the personnel move by his beloved Baltimore squad.

With school getting underway at Texas, Samantha has plenty of work to do with a new coaching staff in place with the Lady Longhorns, as Carol Capitani and Roric Fink enter their first year at the helm of the Texas women's swimming program.

In other swimming-football crossover news, Chloe Sutton's younger brother Colin anchored his Orange Lutheran high school varsity team to victory this weekend. Colin is a monster on the offensive line at 6-5 and 285 pounds, and has already committed to play collegiate football with Pacific 12 team Colorado.
