Ryan Trunk and Sara Bonchosky Have Top Finishes For Westminster

NEW WILMINGTON, Penn, December 7. THE Westminster College men's and women's swimming teams each finished fourth place out of nine teams today, as the Titans and Lady Titans completed the third and final day of competition at the College of Wooster Invitational in Wooster, Ohio.

The Titan men posted a team-total of 1006.5 points, behind meet champion Case Western Reserve (1636), Ashland (1273) and host Wooster
(1030) and ahead of Salem International (908.5), Baldwin-Wallace (718), Oberlin (498), Penn State-Behrend (308) and Lycoming (307).

The Lady Titans also finished in fourth with 1108 team points, behind the meet champion and host Scots (1943), Case Western Reserve (1355) and Baldwin-Wallace (1213) and ahead of Ashland (751), Salem International (554), Lycoming (337), Penn State-Behrend (314) and Oberlin (261).

Freshman Ryan Trunk (Brookline, MA/Cheshire Academy H.S.) posted the top men's finish on the final day of competition for the Titans, as he placed second in the 100 freestyle in 48.19. For the Lady Titans, freshman Sara Bonchosky (Uniontown/Laurel Highlands H.S.) had the top individual finish, tallying a third-place effort in the 100 freestyle (54.33).
