Ryan Lochte Graces Cover of October’s Swimming World Magazine

PHOENIX, Arizona, October 1. FOR the third time in his career, Ryan Lochte has earned a spot on the cover of Swimming World Magazine. After previously being on the cover in September 2005 and June 2006, Lochte has returned to the cover for the third time after his impressive month of August in Irvine, Calif.

Lochte joins the likes of Tom Dolan, Shane Gould, Grant Hackett, Misty Hyman, Lenny Krayzelburg, John Naber, Aaron Peirsol and Ian Thorpe as other three-time cover personalities. If not for swimming in the Michael Phelps era (who has been on the cover a record-tying nine times), Lochte likely would have appeared on more.
