Ryan Cochrane, Kelsey Ditto Set Meet Records at Mel Zajac International Grand Prix

VANCOUVER, British Columbia, June 1. RYAN Cochrane and Kelsey Ditto posted the meet records of the initial night of long course meter competition at the Mel Zajac International Grand Prix held in Vancouver, British Columbia this weekend.

Cochrane clocked an 8:00.09 to eclipse Andrew Hurd's 8:10.15 set on June 2, 2006 in the men's 800 free.

Ditto, meanwhile, touched in 16:38.03 to wipe out the 16:39.03 set by Brittany Reimer on June 17, 2005.

Jessica Rodriguez doubled up for the women with wins in the 200 free (2:02.16) and the 400 IM (4:46.99)

Other men's winners included Matt Hawes (2:01.47 – 200 back), Matthew Huang (1:04.54 – 100 breast), Caleb McDermott (1:53.74 – 200 free), Bradley Ally (4:24.52 – 400 IM) and Matt Rose (25.22 – 50 fly).

Meanwhile, Eliza Wycliffe (2:14.64 – 200 back), Megan Jendrick (1:09.81 – 100 breast) and Hang Yu Sze (27.82 – 50 fly) claimed the other women's wins.
