Ruiz, Wilkinson Win At U.S. Diving Championships

THE WOODLANDS, TX – In the end, Mark Ruiz came away with three national titles from the U.S. Summer National Diving Championships. In addition to his 1m and synchronized 3m titles this week, he won the final men’s event, the 10m platform, defeating silver-medalist Justin Dumais 621.18 to 611.04. He now owns the most U.S. Diving national titles of any top active diver with 13. On the women’s side, local favorite Laura Wilkinson won her first individual platform title since her gold medal at the 1998 Goodwill Games.
