Following the conclusion of day two prelims from the men’s NCAA Championships in Iowa City, Rowdy Gaines joined Swimming World’s David Rieder to discuss his impressions of the meet thus far. Topics of conversation included David Nolan’s barrier-breaking performance in the 200 IM, Texas’ dominance during day two prelims, and whether Kevin Cordes (100 breast) and Chase Kalisz (400 IM) can defend their titles after each set American records last year.
