DURHAM, North Carolina, October 20. The Duke University men’s swimming and diving team has received two more verbal commitments for the incoming class of 2019, from Riley Hickman and Max St. George.

Hickman is a senior at Davis High School in Davis, Calif., and trains with the Davis Arden Racing Team. He’s ranked 14th in California and 88th overall in the class of 2015 by Collegeswimming.com, and should help the Blue Devils right away in the freestyle events.

Hickman’s best events are the 200 free (1:38.27), 100 free (45.28), 500 free (4:29.86) and 50 free (21.02); he’ll have plenty of opportunities to score points in those events in both individual events and as part of all five relays.

St. George attends Wheaton North High School in Wheaton, Ill. and trains with BR Ryall Swim Club; he’s ranked 12th in the state of Illinois and 203rd overall by Collegeswimming.com.

St. George is a strong backstroker and IMer, with top swims of 49.12 (100 back), 1:49.82 (200 back), 1:52.07 (200 IM) and 4:08.00 (400 IM). He’ll give the Blue Devils some great medley relay options with his backstroke abilities, as well as the ability to contribute in the individual back and IM races.
