Race Video: Watch Meghan Lynch Set 2 10-And-Under National Age Group Records

MIDDLETOWN, Connecticut, July 12. GREENWICH YWCA’s Meghan Lynch, 10, was at it again this weekend at the Connecticut Senior Long Course Championships. The breaststroke prodigy took down two 10-and-under National Age Group records at the meet.

In just one swim in the 100-meter breaststroke, where the youngster still managed to finish 17th overall, she clocked a 1:17.74 split 36.13, 41.61.

The 50-meter split clipped the 2004 record of 36.17 set by Kaylin Burchell, while her 1:17.74 in the 100 cut nearly a second off Lynch’s record of 1:18.67 from earlier this year.

Special thanks to Greenwich YWCA for this video.
