SANTA CLARA, California, June 21. RUSSIAN Olympian Arkady Vyatchanin won by more than three seconds tonight in the men’s 200-meter back at the Arena Grand Prix in Santa Clara.

Vyatchanin, who has elected not to swim for Russia internationally anymore and will not swim in a major international meet this year, raced to a 1:55.30 tonight. That clipped his fifth-ranked season best of 1:55.33 from the Charlotte stop of the Grand Prix circuit.

Tyler Clary touched a distant second in 1:58.41, while BlueFish’s Connor Green took third in 1:59.26.
