ORLANDO, Florida, March 20. IF you missed Alexis Wenger win the B final in the 100 breaststroke last night at the NCSA junior nationals, you missed her national age group record-setting swim. But we have video footage of the race, where she became the youngest to break the 1:01 barrier.

Race recap:

Wenger raced a blistering fast 1:00.98 for the 100 breaststroke B final win. Her time was three tenths under Megan Quann’s 1:01.29 former National Age Group record, set last century in 1998. Wenger also dropped 1.89 seconds from her morning swim.
