The 2017 NCAA D1 Men’s Swimming and Diving Championships have officially arrived in Indianapolis, IN! The championship meet will be running March 22-25 and will end with the crowning of a new national champion. Swimming World staff will be on deck and around the IUPUI Natatorium providing live coverage of the meet through our website, video interviews, social media, and more!

PREDICTIONS

Day 2 swims are starting off with the Men’s 200 Freestyle Relay. In that event, Florida is entered with the top time of 1:15.67, and second behind them is Auburn with a 1:16.03. NC State (1:16.27) started the meet off strong last night with a win the 800 Freestyle Relay, and are coming in with the third fastest time for this morning.

Next up will be the 500 Freestyle, where your top seeds are Clark Smith TEX 4:10.63, Grant Shoults STAN 4:10.67, and Flynn Minuth SCAR 4:11.07.

200 IM comes next in the line up and the top three entered into that are Andrew Seliskar CAL 1:41.24, Andreas Vazaios NCS 1:41.25 and Chase Kalisz UGA 1:41.26.

Last indicidual event of the day is the 50 Freestyle where Caeleb Dressel FLOR has the top seed with an 18.46, followed by Ryan Held NCS 18.68 and Joseph Schooling TEX 18.76.

Final event of the swimming session will be the 400 Medley Relay where Indiana has the top seed for the morning with a 3:03.28. Second seed goes to Texas who is entered with a time of 3:03.32 and third is California seeded with a 3:03.45.
