On the women’s side, national team members Jessica Hardy, Ashley Steenvoorden, Kiera Janzen and Kendyl Stewart headline the psych sheet, along with past and present national high school record-holders Abbey Weitzeil, Jasmine Mau and Katie McLaughlin. Weitzeil, Mau and McLaughlin will face one another in the 100 freestyle, where they’re seeded third through fifth, respectively.

A couple of collegiate standouts dot the men’s psych sheets with the likes of Cal’s Seth Stubblefield and Tyler Messerschmidt, USC’s Cristian Quintero and Arizona’s Giles Smith all scheduled to race. Canadians Jeremy Bagshaw, Kier Maitland and Eric Hedlin will also make the trip to southern California.

The meet gets underway tomorrow with timed finals in the women’s 800m free and men’s 1500m free.
