[PSYCH SHEET] Caeleb Dressel Among Highlights of 2018 Mel Zajac Jr. International

Caeleb Dressel is among the many athletes highlighting the 2018 Mel Zajac Jr. International swim meet being held in Vancouver, Canada from June 1-3. Prelims of the meet are set to begin at 9 a.m. local time, while finals will start at 5:30 p.m. local time.

Dressel is slated to swim a total of six events: the 50 free, 100 free, 200 free, 50 fly, 100 fly, and 50 breast.

Also making an appearance in Vancouver this weekend is Team USA veteran, Ryan Lochte. Lochte is entered in the 100 free, 100 back, 200 back, 200 IM, and 400 IM.

A younger member of Team USA, Jacob Foster, holds the top seed in the 50, 100, and 200 breast, and is also entered in the 200 fly, 200 and 400 IM.

15-year-olds Isabella Stadden and Phoebe Bacon highlight the women’s backstroke events, poised at the top of the psych sheet for the 50, 100, and 200 back. Stadden is also entered in the 100 fly, while Bacon will add the 50 breast, 50 fly, and 100 fly to her weekend schedule.

Canada’s own Penny Oleksiak enters the meet as the top seed in multiple events, including the 100 free, 50 fly, and 100 fly. Oleksiak will also swim the 50 free, 200 free, and 200 fly.
