Press Conference: Michael Phelps Returns to Nationals; Bob Bowman Gives Some Insight on Return

IRVINE, California, August 5. THE day that Michael Phelps told the Associated Press that he had signed with Aqua Sphere, Phelps and his coach Bob Bowman appeared in front of the media at a press conference at the USA Swimming Senior Nationals.

He not only spoke about signing with Aqua Sphere, but he also talked about his comeback thus far. He also brought up that he’s been changing up his diet, even going red meat-free the last six months. And, what has been his mantra since returning to competitive swimming in April is that he is “having fun.”
