Presidents’ Athletic Conference Championships, Day Three

GROVE CITY, Pennsylvania, February 18. GROVE City College continued its recent domination at the 2012 PAC Swimming & Diving Championships, taking place as part of the James E. Longnecker Invitational in Grove City, Pa. The Wolverine men posted their fifth consecutive league crown, as the Wolverines finished with 850 points to top second place Westminster (711), while the GCC women recorded their fourth straight conference title with 933 points, well ahead of the second place Titans (665.5 points). Year-end swimming MVP awards went to seniors Ben Bowser of Grove City and Caitlin Lehberger of Westminster, while Wolverine mentor Dave Fritz swept the PAC Men's & Women's Coach of the Year honors. Washington & Jefferson swept PAC Diving recognition, with seniors Bethany Haver and Justin Wiefenbach garnering MVP awards and Vic Galati sweeping Coach of the Year laurels for both men and women.
