Your options were the USA women’s 800 free relay defeating the Aussie’s, the men’s 800 free relay beating Japan by only a few tenths or the men’s 400 medley relay out touching the Australians.  The votes are in and just over 50% of the voters chose the women’s 800 freestyle relay, featuring Missy Franklin and Katie Ledecky, with 53% of the votes.  The men’s 400 medley relay came in second with 37% and the men’s 800 free relay in third with the remaining 10% of the votes.

This week we want to know who you think deserves the Golden Goggle Award for male Race of the Year.  The four swims again all took place at the Pan Pacific Championships.  Your options are Tyler Clary in the 200 backstroke out touching Ryosuke Irie from Japan, Nic Fink in the 200 breaststroke coming second to Japan but in his first major international competition, Connor Jaeger’s 1500 freestyle barely beating Ryan Cochrane or Michael Phelps’ first major individual international victory post retirement in the 100 butterfly.   Please weigh in and vote at SwimmingWorld.com.   This time next week we will bring you the results.
