Poll of the Week: Adding the 1000 to all NCAA Championships Schedules

PHOENIX, Arizona, February 8. LAST week's poll question came from the case of Dagny Knutson and Kate Ziegler who were convinced to forgo college swimming for a professional career in swimming. We polled our audience to find out if you think USA Swimming should compete with universities in recruiting high school athletes for their Athlete Partnership Plan. The results came in and an overwhelming 70.37% of the voters said NO – USA Swimming should not pursue high school swimmers to turn pro instead of competing in college. Only 29.63% of you said yes.

This week's poll question on SwimmingWorld.com concerns the NCAA schedule for all division. We want to know: Should the 1000-yard freestyle be added to the schedule for all NCAA championships? As you know the distance events only include the 500 and 1650 freestyle events. Let us know what you think by voting on our homepage at Swimmingworld.com. We'll bring you the results on next Friday's show. Have a great weekend.
