Penn State’s Pierce and Silvestri Earn Big Ten Divers of The Week

UNIVERSITY PARK, Penn., November 18. JUNIOR Adam Pierce (Conroe, Texas) and sophomore Lisa Silvestri (Huntingdon Valley, Pa.) were recognized by the Big Ten as the conference's men's and women's Divers of the Week, respectively, for their efforts in Penn State's double-dual meet versus Washington last Friday at McCoy Natatorium.

Pierce earned Diver of the Week accolades after recording two first-place scores against the 14th-ranked Huskies. He posted a score of 345.75 on the one-meter board and he finished with a score of 341.25 on the three-meter board.

Silvestri also recorded two first-place finishes in helping Penn State defeat No. 21 Washington. She recorded scores of 314.40 on the one-meter board and 334.50 on the three-meter.
