Olympic Gold Medalist Michael Klim Returning to Swimming

SYDNEY, Australia, February 14. IN another of what has become an incredible amount of retirees deciding to return to the sport. Australian Olympic gold medalist Michael Klim has confirmed that he's coming back to the sport according to the Sydney Morning Herald.

Klim, who won a pair Olympic gold medals at the 2000 Sydney Games and was named the World Male Swimmer of the Year by Swimming World Magazine in 1997, has decided to return to the sport. The news came out shortly after Ian Thorpe announced his return. Libby Trickett also announced a return after a short retirement last year.

"I'm going to have a crack . . . I don't have any expectation whatsoever," Klim told the Sydney Morning Herald.
