North Texas vs. Tulane

NEW ORLEANS, Louisiana, October 15. NORTH Texas won its opening dual meet of the season, defeating Tulane 175-123 in New Orleans on Saturday. The Mean Green have now won three straight dual meets against Tulane.

Mona Groteguth lowered her time from the Green and White Meet by over two seconds in the 100 yard backstroke, posting a 57.76 to win the event, just over a second and a half off the school record. The freshman is already the seventh-leading performer in school history.

Krista Rossum won the 100 yard breaststroke with a time of 1:04.85, topping her time in the Green and White game, and is the 7th-fastest time in school history, just over a second off of Hannah Bakke's school record.

The Mean Green return to the Pohl Recreation Center on Saturday, October 22, as they host New Mexico State at 11 a.m.
