COQUITLAM, British Columbia, November 17. 14-year-old Noemie Thomas of the UBC Dolphins started the 2010-2011 season with a bang, coming out of her first short course meters competition with two Canadian age-group records this past weekend.

On day one of the Hyack Fall into Finals invitational in Coquitlam, British Columbia she crushed the 22-year old Canadian age-group record for 13-14 girls with her 2:13.17 in the 200m butterfly. Her splits; 29.35, 33.21, 34.63, 36.02. The old record stood since 1988 to Sandra Marchand at 2:13.75.
