New Hampshire Division 1 High School State Championships

DURHAM, New Hampshire, March 7. DOVER and Bishop Guertin walked away with state titles at the New Hampshire Division 1 High School State Championships. On the girls' side, Dover tallied 229 points for first while Nashua North took second (211) and Manchester Central placed third (172). Meanwhile, the Bishop Guertin boys won with 287 points followed by Nashua North (282), Concord (128) and Pinkerton (128).

Girls Results
Manchester Central won the 200 medley relay in 1:57.87. Katie Aldrich, Christina Denbow, Katie Donovan, and Brianna Laliberty contributed to the win. Aldrich and Laliberty had individual wins in the 100 backstroke (1:02.26) and the 50 freestyle (25.88), respectively.

Sophomore Jennifer French (Nashua North) was a dual event winner in the 200 and 500 freestyles. She clocked times of 1:57.92 and 5:16.40, respectively.

Dover's Amber Long won the 200 IM (2:14.35) and the 100 freestyle (55.63).

Top finishers in the diving competition include Exeter's Jessica Lachance (299.10), Bishop Guertin's Haley Hullihen (246.55) and Exeter's Nicole Eberhart (2:01.15).

Chloe Davis, Olivia Davis, Rebecca Jolly, and Jordan Tierney (Merrimack) won the 200 freestyle relay with a time of 1:46.93.

Taylor Avrett (Dover) won the 100 butterfly (1:00.97). She teamed up with Elizabeth Malia, A. Long and Chelsey Long (the 100 breast champ in 1:09.47) for a first-place finish in the 400 freestyle relay (3:48.25).

Boys Results
Bishop Guertin won two of three relays. Cody Gilchrist, Ryan Conceicao, Aron Reynolds, and Victor Puksta won the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:45.00. Gilchrist also won the 100 butterfly (55.09).

Reynolds was a dual event winner in the 200 IM (2:03.73) and the 100 backstroke (55.73).

Manchester Memorial's Cole Hogg had individual wins in the 200 and 100 freestyles. He clocked times of 1:47.37 and 48.50, respectively.

Nashua North's trio of Evan Sullivan, John Latvis and Alexander Hinckley were top finishers in the diving competition. Sullivan won with 217.40 points followed by Latvis (204.20) and Hinckley (201.50).

Alexander Hennessy (Nashua North) won the 50 freestyle in 22.45. He teamed up with Ryan Clukey, Anthony Vitale and Colton Skavicus for a win in the 200 freestyle relay (1:34.77).

Reynolds, Sam Burnett, Puksta, and Gilchrist closed the meet with a first-place finish in the 400 freestyle relay (3:24.87).
