New Albany Relay Breaks National Age Group Record

OXFORD, Ohio, March 3. AT the Ohio LSC Senior Championships held on the campus of Miami University, the New Albany 200-yard medley relay team of Marshall Sherman, Michael Lopresti, Scott Martin and Brian Barrett set a U.S. National Age Group record in the 15-18 age division.

Sherman led off with a 24.16 leg, while Lopresti checked in with a 25.72. Martin then touched in 22.23, while Barrett clocked a 20.60 leg.

The foursome clocked a time of 1:32.71 to surpass the previous record of 1:33.09 set by the Rockville-Montgomery team of Josh Hafkin, Adam Meyer, Adrian Astiz and Nicholas Conrad in 2005.
