PHOENIX, Ariz, September 11. THE National Club Swimming Association (NCSA) has set the location and dates for the 2004 and 2005 NCSA Spring Junior National Championship Meets.
The NCSA Board of Directors voted for a multi-year contract with the Orlando Y Swim Team to host both meets at the Orlando Y facility in Florida. The Junior Nationals will be held March 22-26, 2004 and March 21-25, 2005.
NCSA President Bob Gillett said, “Orlando wanted a multi-year contract so that they could better develop local and sponsorship support for the Jr. Nationals. We felt like it was important to have a facility with two courses in an area of the country where people really enjoy and like to visit in the spring. Orlando is a perfect match with the appeal of Disney,Universal and the great travel opportunities.”
Orlando is also the site of this year 2004 ConocoPhillips Spring National Championships, February 10-14, 2004.
The 2003 NCSA Spring Junior Nationals were a great success in Orlando. The qualifying time standards for the 2004 Jr. Nationals will remain the same and can be found at the NCSA web site: www.juniornationals.org.
