COLLEGE STATION, Texas, March 26. DREW Livingston became the first Texas Longhorn to win the men's one-meter diving crown since Troy Dumais went three straight from 2000-02.

Livingston collected a meet-record tally of 442.70 to beat the 421.05 set by Arizona State's Joona Puhakka in 2005. Purdue's David Boudia took second with 420.80 points, while Texas A&M's Eric Sehn finished third with 420.70 points.

The win gave Texas its eighth one-meter diving title in NCAA history. On top of Dumais' three crowns, Matt Scoggin won in 1983 and 1984, while Skippy Browning topped the event in 1951 and 1952.

Texas took a commanding lead with 141 points, while Auburn stood second with 101 points. Stanford (98), Florida (79) and California (69) rounded out the top five.
