NCAA Men’s Champs Set for TV on Friday

ATLANTA, Georgia, March 29. THE NCAA Division I Men's Swimming and Diving Championships, held last week in Atlanta, will be aired on ESPN2 on Friday at 1:30 p.m. (EST). The competition, of course, ended with Auburn capturing its fourth consecutive men's title with a triumph over Arizona.

Plenty of quality swimming was unleashed at the meet, including three American records from Florida's Ryan Lochte (100 back/200 back/200 I.M.) and an NCAA standard from Arizona's Simon Burnett in the 200 freestyle (1:31.20). More, Michigan's Peter Vanderkaay set an American record in the 500 free, as his clocking of 4:08.60 took the legendary Tom Dolan from the record books.
