NBAC Mid Summer Classic: Final Day Concludes

BALTIMORE, Maryland, July 12. THE last night of long course meter action is in the books at the NBAC Mid Summer Classic held in Baltimore.

Chase Kalisz cruised to victory in the men's 200 breast with a 2:25.70, while Mike Thomas took second in 2:30.15. Bryan Offutt wound up third in 2:33.57. Rachael Schaffer hit the wall in 2:35.54 to win the women's 200 breast. Cari Czarnecki earned second in 2:37.52, while Stephanie O'Toole picked up third in 2:39.83.

Giles Smith took home the men's 100 free title in 52.96, while Jes Stephens placed second in 53.74. Offutt earned his second podium of the night with a third-place 54.92. Erica Hall followed in the women's 100 free with a 58.56 for the win. Meredith Budner touched second in 58.57, while Camryne Morris garnered third in 58.58 in an exciting 1-2-3 finish.

Kevin Webster claimed the men's 200 back in 2:06.87, while Oliver Bennett placed second in 2:14.91. Mike Morrow rounded out the top three in 2:16.38. Natalie Beale picked up the women's 200 back crown in 2:17.96. Allison Roberts (2:22.30) and Willa Wang (2:22.66) finished second and third.

In distance action, William Yang won the men's 1500 free in 16:32.78, while Hunter Lussi took second in 16:40.56. Rodney Fentress placed third in 16:40.71. Kayla Zeller topped the women's 1500 free in 17:01.53, while Dani Potis touched second in 17:55.92. Kelly Trussell finished third in 18:00.02.
