Thanks for the video, lots of familiar old faces and it was great to see the shots of the old Belmont Plaza pool back before the bulkhead got stuck and they could still swim LCM! What happened in 1976 with the US men’s and GDR women’s Olympic teams will never happen again, such dominance I mean, so I still think they should go back to 3 swimmers per country per event. possible compromise being that only 2 swimmers per country allowed to swim in the final. So many great 3rd place swimmers never got a chance to swim at the Olympics and so many of them could have medaled over the years.
