Morning Swim Show: State Titles Are Great, But National Titles Are the Goal for Chris Plumb and Carmel High

PHOENIX, Arizona, September 12. TODAY’S edition of The Morning Swim Show features Chris Plumb, the head coach of Carmel High School, the Swimming World girls’ high school national team champion.

Plumb tells host Jeff Commings that despite the state title being a relatively easy affair for Carmel, the team puts a lot of stock into it, as it is the platform by which the team gains national recognition. Plumb talks about his decision to “load up the relays” at the state meet, and the freshman who handled the pressure of being the key leg in all three relay swims. He also talks about swimming in Indiana and how it is growing to become a top swimming state. Be sure to visit SwimmingWorld.TV for more video interviews.
