Morning Swim Show Revisited – Chris Plumb – Video

PHOENIX – Carmel High School swimming head coach Chris Plumb is still likely celebrating his girls’ team win at the Indiana high school state championships, and we are presenting an in-depth interview with Plumb from this past September at the American Swim Coaches Association of America’s world coaching clinic.

Plumb discusses everything that went into his team winning the Swimming World Magazine High School Girls Team title last yer, from dryland training to mental preparation to swim fast at the state championships. He also discusses the addition of Amy Bilquist to the team and how she has proven to be a great leader in and out of the pool.

Based on their amazing performances two weeks ago at the Indiana state championships, including national high school records in all three relays, it is likely that Carmel will repeat as national girls team champion. We’ll announce this year’s winners in the September issue of Swimming World Magazine!
