Morning Swim Show: Pierre Lafontaine One Key To Swimming Canada’s Success

PHOENIX, Arizona, February 12. BEFORE he can start his new job at the Canadian InterUniversity Sport, Pierre Lafontaine joins today's edition of The Morning Swim Show to look back on his years leading Swimming Canada.

In his eight years at the helm as CEO and national team head coach, Lafontaine saw Canada's stature in international swimming rise, and he talks about the reasons why that was able to happen, and the ways the success of the country's best swimmers trickled down to the younger generations. He doesn't plan to be completely away from Swimming Canada in his new position, and he talks about what he'll miss most when he starts his new job in March.
