Morning Swim Show: No Half Measures for Coach Brendan Hansen

PHOENIX, Arizona, October 9. BRENDAN Hansen joins today’s edition of The Morning Swim Show to talk about his new role as coach at Lost Creek Aquatics in Austin, Texas.

Hansen’s journey to coaching began when he was a student-athlete at the University of Texas and coach Eddie Reese told him to consider being a coach. Jack Bauerle also made the same suggestion to Hansen at the 2012 Olympics, and Hansen now finds himself working with young swimmers in Austin, a role he’s relishing after taking some time away from the sport. He talks about the challenges of working with the team and why he feels he needs to get into the water and show swimmers correct technique.
