Morning Swim Show: Masters Swimmer Details Phoenix Swim Club Fight For Pool

PHOENIX, Arizona, February 21. MASTERS swimmer and community member Tricia Schafer joins today's edition of The Morning Swim Show to discuss the ongoing fight to keep the Phoenix Swim Club pool despite an intent to replace the facility with houses.

Schafer, who bought a home near the pool because she believed the club would always have a home there, details the community rally and petition to keep the special-use permit that could allow the team and the pool to remain. With Brophy College Preparatory planning to sell the land to a housing developer, Schafer talks about the timelines the community is facing in the coming months, and what other teams can do if faced with such a situation.
