PHOENIX, Arizona, April 1. EACH Monday in April on The Morning Swim Show we will bring you an interview with a personality from the Masters swimming community that has an interesting story to tell, to coincide with our April issue of Swimming World Magazine honoring the top Masters swimmers in the world.
Today's episode features world record holder Leslie Livingston, who talks about the recent world record she set despite coming off severe illness, and how it sets her up for what could be a fast Masters nationals next month. She describes her training process, which includes a lot of short-burst kicking and swimming and hypoxic sets, which have helped become one of the best underwater swimmers in the Masters community.
