Morning Swim Show: Kidney Transplant Allowing Asa Keimig to Fuel Competitive Fire

PHOENIX, Arizona, November 14. TODAY’S guest on The Morning Swim Show hasn’t won Olympic medals or set world records, but his story is bound to inspire you.

Asa Keimig got a crucial kidney transplant in 2005, and it allowed him to live out his competitive personality on the lacrosse field at Liberty University. Now, he’s turning his focus to the pool in training for next summer’s Transplant Games of America. Keimig talks about the journey that has led him to this point, the fundraiser he is organizing to pay for expenses and his history growing up a short distance from Michael Phelps.

To learn how to donate to Keimig’s travel fund, send him an email to akeimig@liberty.edu.
