Morning Swim Show: Katie Ledecky Relives 1650 Free American Record Swim

PHOENIX, Arizona, December 20. BEFORE she headed across the Atlantic Ocean to compete in the Duel in the Pool, Katie Ledecky talked with Swimming World’s Shoshanna Rutemiller for today’s edition of The Morning Swim Show.

Ledecky doesn’t swim very much butterfly, so she talked about the mental reminders she gave herself before doing the 200 fly at the Speedo Tom Dolan Invitational. She also talked about being at the meet surrounded by adoring fans, and what it’s been like since breaking the American record in the 1650-yard freestyle at nationals.
