Gear, a member of the Capital One Academic All-District team, wants to be a film writer and director, and talks about his critical studies major at USC’s prestigious film school. He names Steven Spielberg as an inspiration and discusses the ABC show that he’ll work on as an intern this summer. In the pool, he’s changed from a platform diver to the springboard, brought on by back issues. He talks about re-learning the sport and the fellow diver who impressed him with a nearly impossible dive recently. Be sure to visit SwimmingWorld.TV for more video interviews.
