Morning Swim Show: John Dussliere Learning the Ropes in USA Boxing Role

PHOENIX, Arizona, May 14. AFTER many years of coaching swimmers to be their best in the pool and open waer, John Dussliere joins today's edition of The Morning Swim Show to talk about his new venture with USA Boxing.

Dussliere, the 2008 head coach for the American open water Olympic team, discusses the unexpected meeting with the director of USA Boxing that led to his new job as sport director. He talks about the specifics of his new job and how swimming and boxing share many commonalities. With both sports sharing an equal goal of preparing athletes for the Olympic Games, Dussliere said the transition was quite easy, especially given that he had followed amateur boxing for many years. Dussliere isn't completely removed from the pool, and he talks about his current on-deck involvement in Colorado Springs. Be sure to visit SwimmingWorld.TV for more video interviews.
