Morning Swim Show: Gregg Troy’s Advice to Coaches

PHOENIX, Arizona, August 30. OUR holiday wekeend edition of The Morning Swim Show features a speech from renowned coach Gregg Troy from the 2012 American Swim Coaches Association’s world clinic.

Troy, who was the head coach of the American men’s team at last year’s Olympics, offers his thoughts about his fellow coaches in this first part of his speech. (The remainder of this speech can be found on the 2012 ASCA landing page.) Troy also talks about the pitfalls of being a swimming coach, who doesn’t really have an off-season, and the advice he would give to find more balance in life and not get burned out on being on deck constantly. Be sure to visit SwimmingWorld.TV for more video interviews.
