Morning Swim Show: Brittany MacLean Set For Busy Long Course Season

PHOENIX, Arizona, May 7. BRITTANY MacLean joins today's edition of The Morning Swim Show at the start of a busy long course season that will have her competing at the World University Games and world championships.

MacLean speaks with host Jeff Commings about making the transition from Ontario in Canada to the University of Georgia, particularly swimming short course yards. With fellow Canadian Chantal Vanlandeghem at Georgia, MacLean said her freshman year was easier to tackle. She also talks about helping Georgia win a team title, and how she was able to shift to long course and make two of Canada's international squads. MacLean will go back to Canada to train for the summer meets, but could be back in the States for competition before her European swimming tour.
