Pearson is taking over a team that will have its inaugural season starting this fall, and it’s nothing new for the Colorado native. He’s started a few collegiate swimming programs elsewhere in the state, and he talks about the challenges that come with trying to recruit swimmers. He has a five-year plan for the team that includes prominence at the NCAA Division II level, national titles and conference championships.
