More Records for MOR Swimmers

ATLANTA, Ga., July 7. MARLINS of Raleigh (MOR) swimmers set 10 meet records at the recently held Stingrays Invitational swim meet in Atlanta Ga., June 27-29. MOR finished in sixth place with 1497 points.

Thirteen year-old Kirsten Smith set four meet records for girls 13-14, including the 100 meter backstroke (1:09.56), 200 back (2:31.48), 400 freestyle (4:40.76) and 400 IM (5:14.71).

Jenna Rinaldi, 17, set meet records in the 17-18 division in both the 100 meter breaststroke (1:15.56) and 200 breast (2:40.33).

Kelsy Smith, 16, came away with four records in the 200 meter free (2:08.30), 400 free (4:29.83), 100 back (1:05.23), and 200 back (2:21.27). Her 100 back time was also a Sr. National Qualifying time.
