Mission Viejo Seniors Sign With Top Programs

MISSION VIEJO, Calif, November 16. THE Mission Viejo Nadadores' 2003 Senior class has signed three swimmers so far to the Pac-10 conference.

Erin Ketchum, a senior at Capo Valley High School and a USA Swimming top 16 ranked 800, 1500 freestyler and 200 butterflier,and teammate Nicolette Teo, also top-16 ranked in the 100 and 200 breaststroke and a senior at Mission Viejo High School, have both signed national letters of intent to attend UCLA next fall.

Richard Hunter, a senior at Trabuco Hills High School and Nadador breaststroker, has committed to the University of California at Berkeley. All three teammates made their final decisions while in Colorado Springs training at the Olympic Training Center for the upcoming U.S. Open Championships in Federal Way this December. Hunter and Ketchum are currently training toward the Olympic Trials to be held next July in Long Beach, while Teo has already been selected to represent Singapore in the 2004 Athens Games.
