Mills, Sprenger Dealing With Health Woes Heading to World Champs

MONTREAL, Canada, July 22. WITH the World Championships set to begin on Sunday, timing has not been on the side of the Australian National Team. A contender for world titles in the 50 and 100 freestyle events, Mills has struggled with sickness and spent two-and-a-half days out of the water with a fever. As for Sprenger, the middle-distance freestyler suffered whiplash in a car accident and the injury bothered Sprenger at the team’s training camp in Florida. Sprenger has not been practicing starts due to his neck woes.
