Maryland State High School Swimming Championships Postponed

COLLEGE PARK – While the Maryland State Diving Championships took place on February 20 at the Eppley Recreation Center at the University of Maryland, the Maryland State High School Swimming Championships, which were scheduled to take place on Saturday 2/21 have been postponed due to impending weather.

According to Maryland Athletic Association’s website, both the Class 3A/2A/1A and Class 4A/3A meets will be made up at the Prince George’s Sports and Learning Complex in Landover. Class 3A/2A/1A will take place Friday 2/27 and Class 4A/3A will take off the following week on Tuesday 3/3.

BCCs Jack Crow won the boys diving title, while Churchill’s Elaine Faerber took the girls diving crown.
