Margo Geer Knows Megan Romano Will Be Tough in 100 Freestyle (Video Interview)

INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana, March 22. MARGO Geer never discounts anyone racing in the pool with her at the NCAA championships, and in this video interview on the deck at the women's NCAA Division I swimming and diving championships, she gives high praise to 50 freestyle runner-up Megan Romano.

Geer, a junior at the University of Arizona who won the 50 freestyle on Thursday night, talks about Romano's toughness and how the Georgia senior's performances at the SEC meet “caught everyone's attention.” Geer, a contender for the 100 freestyle title on Saturday, expects another tough race from Romano then.

Looking ahead to the 100 freestyle, Geer has her sights set on breaking the 47-second barrier, “the ultimate barrier,” as she calls it.
