Maine Masters Post Men’s 360-399 200 Free Relay Record

PORTSMOUTH, New Hampshire, November 13. THE Maine Masters 360-399 men's 200 free relay team of Norman Seagrave, 91, Everett Hanke, 92, John Woods, 89 and John White, 91, set the first short course meter time in Masters history in the event at the Great Bay Masters Swim Club SCM Tune-Up on Nov. 10.

The quartet clocked a time of 6:31.84 in the relay event. Seagrave ledoff with a 1:44.49, while Hanke checked in with a 2:03.24 split. Woods then punched a 1:37.61 in the third leg before White anchored the world record time in 1:06.50.

According to reports by the Great Bay Masters, the foursome enjoyed "a prolonged standing ovation" after the swim.
