Libby Lenton’s Coach, Stephan Widmer, Sounds Off with SwimmingWorld.TV

PHOENIX, Arizona, December 2. IN an exclusive video interview on page 57 of the December issue of Swimming World, Australian coach Stephan Widmer discusses a variety of subjects with SwimmingWorld.TV. Widmer is the coach of Aussie mega star, Libby Lenton, who is currently ranked first in the world in the 100 meter free and 100 fly.

Widmer shares how he thinks things may unfold at the Olympics in Beijing. He reflects on the changes that have come about since the 2004 World Championships and the potential impact of those events on the Games next year. The Aussie coach also touches on Lenton's training leading up to the Olympics. He indicates that her goal is to focus on taking her events out fast, while having enough energy reserves to have a strong finish.
